So, this is a bit far fetched and kinda all over the map so its most likely a horrible idea... that said I wanted to ask some more seasoned members.
I am playing a campaign with some friends the the DM made up on his own. we are using the pathfinder rule set and it is a very heavy role playing campaign, lots of investigating and tracking down leads (so im told).
I am the rogue of the group and the prestige class "Sleepless detective" really caught my eye. I also love the idea behind "Arcane trickster".
I'm set on the Knife master rogue arc type to get the D8 sneak attack instead of the D6.
Anyway, I was thinking of dividing up my 20 levels to be a:
3 Rogue
1 Wizard (transmutation school)
8 sleepless detective
8 Arcane trickster
(i would take magical knack as one of my traits so my caster level would be 11)
I get a lot of cool stuff, but Maybe I'm spread way to thin? I have a feeling I am.
If this wouldnt work, thats totally fine I didnt think it would - is there any good way to make a rogue who throws daggers and maintains his sneak attack? Ive read lots of conflicting info about ranged sneak attack.
Thanks in advance
