I was toying again with a sorcerer when a question struck my mind. It's about Draconic Bloodline Arcane. The text reads
Whenever you cast a spell with an energy descriptor that matches your draconic bloodline's energy type, that spell deals +1 point of damage per die rolled
The text doesn't require for the +1 damage to apply that the dices musts be of designated elemental type, but only for the spell descriptor to be the right one. So for example if i chose blue dragon and i cast Ice Storm i should get +1 damage on both the cold damage dices and on the bludgeoning damage dices. Is this really intended? or it is an oversight?
On the same line of thought, let's take a sorcerer arcane trickster. When sneak attacking with a spell with the right energy type, do i get to add my bloodline bonus also on the additional sneak attacks dices?

I think you mean white dragon ;)
Intended or oversight? I don't know, but I wouldn't mind you dealing extra bludgeoning damage(more ice means bigger hails)
The damage dice from SA are not per say from the spell, but again: I would allow it.
And neither instance goes against the RAW.

Why should it be an oversight? Especially for a spell fitting perfectly your theme of a white dragon draconic sorc?
Also: it's a difference of 3 damage for a 4th level spell (you're gonna be at least level)--not really game breaking (especially for a spell that's use as crowd/battlefield control is far superior to its damage dealing portion).
The other one is an interesting one, but I'd say taking sorc as your caster class would be rather sub-optimal, since as sorc you'd loose almost all of your class features while progressing in AT--and again it's only 5 damage more (at level 17; sorc4/rogue3/AT10).

Yes ofc, i confused blue and white, my oversight. And anyway, i'm not worried by the power, there are far more broken things around that a sorcerer damage, i was just curious about others view on the matter.
On the other hand staking a crossblooded with double +1 on a trickster may make an interesting twist for a ranged dps using flaming shurikens.
