Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

I have a question for people who already have the game. There are a couple of people in my group of friends who will be getting this game. Not everyone is able to get together at the same time. If, say, 3 of us play 4 or 5 scenarios, would it be realistic to use that character with other friends when they play their first time?

Basically, is there a point where a character you've evolved is too far along to be used with a new character?

If your character is too strong or too weak compared to other characters then you might end up in scenarios that are too easy or too hard for you. I think it would work fine as long as you keep the different games more or less in sync (at least all on the same adventure path).

I think within the first adventure it wouldnt be that big a deal. I doubt that will hold true for long though.

Having said that, I'd just make a note of your deck and any advancements (the character sheets are designed for that) so you can return to your original character later and then start a second character in the second game. Each class plays quite differently, so it's a very different experience and would probably me more fun for you, since you'll be repeating a scenario anyhow - may as well have something new to work with.

Ideally, we've been creating new characters for the different groups (group of 3, group of 4, group of 5) and depending on who is available determines which character set and set of adventures we use.

Also, keep in mind that the intent is if you've gotten the "end game" rewards for the individual adventures, or the adventure paths, you don't get them multiple times on the same character when playing through again. So, you're basically just playing for fun and for potential random upgrades from cards encountered during play.

Characters that are "behind" can also catch up by solo-playing through scenarios they "missed."
