So my current group is filled with fairly squishy people 3 Arcane variants (but no Wizard, go figure). All 4 people are fairly direct damage oriented. What we need and what I am willing to play is a Battlefield Controller and a Tank.
I would like to be able to fill that role with one character, so my immediate thoughts are Druid and Summoner. Stats are absolutely stacked, to the point of wtf, so no worries there about MAD builds.
Right now I was thinking either a Druid or Summoner.
Druid thoughts: If I go Druid I am Def think Samsaran for 6 spells from the clerics list. Divine Power, Righous Might, Restoration, Raise Dead, + 2 more Maybe Animate Dead (go Agent of the Grave later) This would use either the Menhir Savant or Sauran Shaman Archetype.
The other Idea would be to go the Master Summoner Route. I am less familiar with this class, but I know they are beast with Summon Monster and a good crowd control spell list, as far as I can tell eidolons are a good secondary trait.
The character has to be playable from 2 - 15 or so, and Lawful Evil. Right now I am leaning Samsaran Menhir Savant, but I think I could be persuaded easily by a good argument. Thoughts?
