What's the difference between Race Traits and Racial Traits.

Rules Questions

I just want to get and idea what everyone thinks.

racial traits are traits you gain automatically by virtue of being a member of that race.

race traits are traits that can be chosen by members of that race if the optional trait rules are part of the game at your table.

They are very clear although the wording confuses people.

Racial Traits are part of a race's abilities and are not part of the optional Trait system in the back of the APG.

You may not use a Race Trait (such as from the back of the APG in the trait system) and 'buy' a Racial Trait with it.

You cannot use the Adopted Trait to 'buy' a Racial Trait.

I can see how these can get confused.

I actually feel weird, that I never confused the two though.

I feel pompous mentioning that.

This is weird place to be.

BBT, admit it, you are just plain weird. :D

Well, of course.

Otherwise, I might get boring.

Boring? NEVER! So, who is up for a game of Axis and Allies Europe? (Yes, my turn to be weird.) :D

More like Maid RPG, or Mouse Guard.

Maybe some Star Wars D20, Horatio Hornblower edition.

I asked this question because of the Racial Heritage feat.

One fine, glorious day, I will convince my friends we need to play that one.

It does not allow you to grab Racial Traits.
