Is this just a reprint of the first Machinsmith PDF or is there new content in here as well?
This is all of our Machinesmith content PLUS the content from Super Genius Games AND Rite Publishing created content. Now all of it is available in print for those that love the class.
wish there was a novel or a novella of the setting to help get into things- I snagged the Free RPG Day adventure from my FLGS, but a lot of things just left me saying "huh?". But having things available in print is a BIG plus in my book :) well done, sir!
You mean besides the NeoExodus Legendary Tales: The Shield of Ignorance PDF and ebook? This is the only one we currently have available. But expect to see more in the near future. If you are not sure you want to buy, Click here to read our free ebook NeoExodus Legendary Tales: The Shield of Ignorance - Chapter One written by Joshua Cole, edited by Joshua Yearsley.

I mean, physical ones I can actually hold in my hands and read :) I tried doing eBooks once, but I got so much of a headache it wasn't fun.

Since these are short stories it it not financially reasonable to make them print-on-demand product. I am sure when we start collecting some of the future stories together, then it will be a possibility.

I can understand the financial feasibility aspect completely :)
and I also understand that this is *my* problem, and a major frustration for me personally, as there are so many things out there in PDF that I'll probably never read, simply due to the format. Which is why I was pleased to see the announcement of works being offered Print-on-demand !

Have you tried an actual Kindle or Nook? Not the tablets, but an actual ebook reader? They don't have back-lit screens like tablets or phones, so there's no eyestrain from staring at a monitor for hours. My Kindle is the best $80 investment I've ever made. I'm usually packing around a few hundred books on any given day, no headaches, and having the Oxford English Dictionary at my fingertips is a definite bonus.

I toyed with a borrowed one some time ago, but it was kind of a wonky experience for me. But I understand some of the problems with glare and whatnot have been fixed in more recent incarnations. Part of the problem there is, that would pretty much devour my "extras" allowance, meaning that I wouldn't be able to get any RPG goodies for the month. That, and I really am a staunch supporter of brick-n-mortar Game Shops / Booksellers. It already kind of sucks, that of the 4 Game stores here in the city, only ONE still gets any RPG things in anymore. The other two are only selling off backstock (or not buying new things in English), doing TCG's and mainly LARP. By those 2, anytime I inquire about anything I'm told "E-bay or Amazon", both of which are a pain if you prefer doing things cash.
