How would you stat up all the different dragons from How to tame your Dragon. And more importantl One has anyone else already done this and Two could we make an summoner like build system for them for gms to use or to let players use. Say I wanted to run a rider campaign perhaps tell my players they get 15 bp go have fun....

I would use the exceptional critter array +4 / +4 / +2 / +2 / 0 / -2 instead of bp

Sorry ment Ep lol. I figure give a set number of hit dice and set stats and then let the players build the Dragon from a pool of abilities similar to an Elidon.
Perhaps 2hd of dragon starting off with maybe the elite array or as mentioned the exceptional critter array. And 30 ft fly speed average

The real problem to me is I am completely unfamiliar with the summoner so have no idea how to blance out the evolutions.

Theres a couple different 3pp dragon rider classes out there.
The one from SGG (Genius Guide to the Dragonrider) is one, and I forget the name of the other. The SSG one uses regular chromatic/metallic dragons that are scaled down when bound, then increase again as the character levels. The rider itself has full BAB, gets some spells...

The other one I'm thinking of is called a dragon rider, but they are more drakes, more like the ones from HTTYD. But, they are all the same in base stats, then you choose what kind of talents they have, like are they a brute, an agile flyer, stronger breath weapon, etc. I don;t remember much about what the rider gets...
Draw back to the second class is that they share a pool of HP.

Dragonbound Core Class by Skortched Urf' Studios is the second one.

I'd take a look at both of these (both are worth purchasing, in my mind) and play around a mix match them, see what you can come up with.

I dunno that you want to use evolutions from eidolon, honestly, but I understand the appeal. It's a collection of various properties you can assign to a creature that's already in a list with costs assigned. Hoever, these are for a very specific creature that's a feature of a specific class, and is balanced that way.
