Mage's Disjunction suppressing / destroying Haversack & Bag of Holding

I've searched the threads but couldn't find a definitive answer.

What happens to the contents when a Haversack or a Bag of Holding gets either suppressed or destroyed?

If the item was suppressed the items in the extra dimensional space would be unavailable until its magic was restored. If destroyed those items would be lost.

Suppressed, they cannot be retrieved. If the bag/haversack rolls a natural 1 on it's save, the magic is permanently removed.

The items inside are not destroyed per se, they are just in an extradimensional space that no longer connects to anywhere.

Now, getting them back is up to the GM, you would have to track down an unknown point in space. I can think of several ways to get to them, Wish/Miracle etc, and if there is a way to scry on something across the planes you should be able to find where they are if it's something truly important.

Had a Witch with the Familiar Pocket item up... hit with disjunction, it was a fun time had by the GM, and an epic quest to get that lil' beast back.
