I'm building a Half-Orc Ninja who nees Exotic Weapon Profiency (Curve Blade, Elven). Since I don't want to spend a feat to acquire it, I was wondering if there's a trait that grants that Profiency?
If not, then I'm also happy with some other weapon that is two handed. I was thinking Nodachi, which is a martial weapon.
Also, the trait would have to be Paizo sactioned. No 3rd party stuff - thats how the GM has ruled.

@Jiggy
True, but the Curve Blade is just.. cooler. And there's a story behind it (lost half-brothers only item he left behind). And I'm in love with that story. And I'm bull headed :)
But you're right. It's not that huge a deal and the character also carries a katana. But it's his fathers' sword and it's the only memento he has of his father and he will not use it before he sees his father again! Family honor and all that...
But yes, I will consider the katana, yet again. Maybe I can change the backstory a bit...
@Lamontius
Didn't know there's an ioun stone like that, thanks!
@Krodjin
Nope, not making a finesse build but a Strength based Ninja. Though the chain would be nice..

Rich Parents + Heirloom weapon grants you a MW exotic weapon at 1st level that you are proficient with. But you're stuck with it for your character life.
Thank you! That could work.. IF I could somehow upgrade the weapon later.
What if I just took Heirloom Weapon? Is it possible to transmute an non-masterwork item into a masterwork item? If I remember correctly there's a spell but as it happens I can't remember its name..

Masterwork Transformation is that spell. You can then enchant it and go from there. I've seen people recommend not going this route, however, as you are not proficient in terms of feats (Weapon Focus) or Prestige Classes (Red Mantis Assassin), which hurts for most builds that want one of these types of weapons. Also, if the weapon is destroyed, you can't get proficiency back with that weapon type.

Yes. Masterwork transformation. Then it can be enchanted later. But then you can't ever make proficient use of an adamantine, silver, or cold steel curved blade.
Um, I'm confused. Why can't I use for example adamantine curved blade? Is because of this wording the Heirloom trait has:
When you select this trait, choose one of the following benefits: proficiency with that specific weapon.
as you are not proficient in terms of feats (Weapon Focus) or Prestige Classes (Red Mantis Assassin)
Oookay, is this the same thing I'm referring above? Or something else?
Meh, if nothing else works then I take take the damn Feat. Then after two levels of Ninja I dip into Fighter at 3rd level. At least this gives me an extra feat (Weapon Focus maybe?) and +1 BAB so that I can hit things..

Yep, that's the text. You basically only get proficiency with that one weapon. Not type, specific weapon.
Sheet. So I have to buy a locked gauntlet, hire a few bodyguards to throw themselves at the Rust Monsters I face and sleep with the weapon in my.. umm, safe place.
Well, back to the drawing board..
