Ok, I'm putting together my own hand made campaign including my own world and everything. My experience with Pathfinder is limited to the creation of a 5th lvl barb and a hand full of untested random 1st lvl classes who I've looked over optimization guides for, so I am hoping to find a veteran here with a good background who might be able to spend a bit of time every now and then on skype guiding me into becoming a great DM.
Because this is my first time doing such a thing I'll be doing a test run through my campaign once I feel I've got a full enough outline completed, and I intend to have this as a slow-leveling campaign in order to allow me a bit more time to gain experience and grow.
If anyone--or multiple people--would be willing to spend a little time here and there on skype to offer advice, criticism, or help guide me in any way it would be greatly appreciated. Basically I would inform you of a loose plot-line with any advances I make in it and go from there.
I'm currently reading over much of paizo's PRD information as well as studying DM advice, tips, and mentality from several DM related guides on youtube as well as reading through the second edition of "campaign sourcebook and catacomb.....something something lol." I'm also looking over the PRD Game Mastery Guide as well.
Soooooo, if anybody would be willing to basically shave off any rough edges of or even co-create my campaign with me it would be greatly appreciated. Simply post here and pm me your skype info if you don't want it to be in the open :)

I've studied a ton when it comes to DM tips.
My most potent obstacle at the moment is actually the creation of my world/cities etc. Mainly cities and making sure that there isn't a single thing unturned (making sure there are multiple quests available; that there are important NPC's in all areas--church, crafts, nobles, etc.
I want to make sure that the cities really pop out and have a life of their own outside of simple descriptors; a complexity that offers plenty of variation and deviation from the main plot-line as well as offering other things to do aside from invading dungeons or conquering Orc Raiders. I'd like to find a way to include politics along with regular tasks a growing community might have need for and other things that keep this interesting for more than just "hey, this is the next set of creatures who are annoying civilization."

Wow. Shaun, the first video about starting with gods and branching out definitely gave me a new perspective on things. Rather than using pre-determined gods in Pathfinder I'm going to be creating my own which stem from immortal dragons of ridiculous power and incorporating many features of several of the pre-existing gods into this counsil of gods. This will allow me to create an epic campaign once characters achieve 20th lvl and I already have a plot to go with it now :)
I'll have to study some of the qualities of pathfinder gods. And how many types of dragons are there btw? I'll probably distribute specific qualities to one god-like dragon of each ethnicity based off of their pre-existing habits/alignments. Cool thing about this though is that with what I have planned for the characters's epic campaign is in the end they'll essentially be replacing the "dragon gods" which they kill. As the Dragons' wondering souls have no heaven or hell and will find their slayers bodies of use. The defeated Dragon Gods' alignments will in the end take over each of the party members as they ascend into godship (creating new gods to conquer for the next group of players) although each character will maintain aspects of him/herself as well.
That's waaaaaaay in the future though, following wars, crazy powerful enemies, and the such ;)
