Yet Another Controlled Rage Question

May an Urban Barbarian select how to allocate her ability score increases differently with each controlled rage? That is, can she increase DEX by 4 points one time she rages and STR the next time? I am assuming that she cannot change "on the fly" (off the handle?).

I'd say the barbarian can choose how to split the +4 at each start of the rage, but not just switch it between rounds.

Unless they can rage cycle.

Thanks. On reflection, I don't really know why I would want to do anything other than +4 to DEX - I am a rogue 7/Barb 1 with Weapon Finesse and an Agile rapier, but it's nice to have the flexibility, just in case.
