Okay. I take my citrine jelly friend, tie him to the rope end after untying myself, and fling him out over the side, while holding on to the rope some thirty feet from the end. Then, when he has made a complete circuit and land on the bridge again, I tie the rope to make a knot and let the rope loop around the bridge.

Fling!: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

I push the loop back closer to the door end, and stand just on your side of it, so it won't slide closer to you.
