Awesome Bardic Eulogy written by one of my players

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Just thought I would share this, thought it was pretty awesome when one of our characters died and the party bard read this at his burial. He wrote it himself.

The Hero’s Lullaby

Dancing flames cast back the night
While twinkling stars make jest of light.

A lonely wail in darkness calls,
As the staggered hero finally falls.

He welcomes midnight's cool embrace
as tears and sweat roll down his face.

The day's last battle has been fought and won,
But tomorrow's struggles have yet begun.

A shadow passes in silent roar
and in its wake he'll fight no more.

Rest now warrior you’ve paid your dues
The next battle is another’s to choose.

Awesome! I'm e-mailing this to myself for future use. Tell your player thanks on my behalf!

A Bard in my game wrote a song called "U + Ur Off-Hand". She was very excited.

Dark Archive

Could we get a character name to cite as the author IG?

Character was an elven bard Chance Dubois, and yes I was greatly impressed and actually asked to have a copy written and printed up to keep in our game room. I love it. Also said player has indicated that he is very open to the sharing of this and hopes all enjoy.

The comedic bard in my group (Dane Crook) invents a limerick relating to whats happening at the time each time he casts a spell. I admire his effort, but they're pretty terrible. Its nice to see when someone has a gift for prose.
