I’m going to be running a game soon and my players and I have decided we wanted to do Red Hand of Doom. However, since we’re starting at 1st level for the sake of a newbie, I decided to run The Sunless Citadel and The Forge of Fury first so the PCs can get from 1st to 5th level before RHoD. However, this has left me with a predicament; what advancement track should I use to make sure they’re leveling properly for the three adventures? My gut feeling is that I should stick with medium, but I’m really not 100% sure and would just like to get some input from other people, especially if someone has done any of these adventures before for Pathfinder.
Thanks in advance!

Short answer: Fast or Fast+?
Experience Points: Finally, the experience point system has changed a bit in the Pathfinder RPG. The first thing you need to do here is ask your GM what type of game he plans to run in terms of character advancement. There are three basic types: fast, medium, and slow. 3.5 was based on a fast advancement model, so many existing games will continue on this course, but you should check with your GM to be sure.
Next, determine if you are more than halfway to your next level using the 3.5 advancement charts. If so, place yourself at the halfway mark between the same levels using Table 3–1 on page 30. If you are less than halfway to your next level, place yourself at the minimum number of experience points needed to be at your current level using Table 3–1.Some GMs might prefer a more exact method of conversion in which you calculate the percentage toward your next level and apply that to the amount of XP needed to gain a level using the Pathfinder RPG rules. Check with your GM before using this method.

How do you run your games as a GM/DM?
Do you run straight MOD nothing extar ie no side quest, littel or no random encouters, no time for Character devlopement?
If yes Fast
If some Medium
If alot then Slow
My groups if we run AP do not even track EXP any more you level at the AP mark point.
If we run a home brew we keep track of EXP still.
