Adding Spells to Spellbook - Downtime vs. Regular

It seems there is an inconsistency between the two:

PRD - Magic:

Time: The process takes 1 hour per spell level.

PRD - Downtime:

you can spend 1 day of downtime to copy up to eight spells from other sources into your spellbook.

Should it read "eight levels worth of spells" in the second instead or is it intended that they transcribe spells faster during downtime?

I would have to guess it was meant to say '8 levels of spells' rather than '8 spells' as none of the other downtime activities that can be performed under non-downtime rules are sped up.
