Rules Questions

So I just got ultimate campaign. It has many cool things, I was looking at terrain stuff and buildings, making roads, etc. but I don't see anything about how long it takes to make them. Is this info in,there?

Buildings are completed the same turn and the benefits apply immediately. Even a Castle is completed in the same turn it is begun. While this may not seem realistic this is a pretty generalized system. There are many details running in the background. Perhaps the structure was started earlier and is just now being completed.

UCa p212 wrote:
Construction: Construction is completed in the same turn you spend BP for the building, no matter what its size is. A building’s benefits apply to your kingdom immediately. At the GM’s discretion, construction magic (such as lyre of building, fabricate, or wall of stone) can reduce a single building’s BP cost by 2 (minimum 0). This is a one-time reduction per turn, regardless of the amount of magic used.

Also, while not explicitly stated I believe this also includes terrain improvements.

This is based on comparing the statements in the examples on pages 206 and 207. In the p206 example the consumption at the end of the phase was listed as 5. In the p207 example the consumption at the end of the phase was listed as 4.

Okay, thanks for the help!

Just remember to revise the kingdom stats before moving on to the next phase and you should do fine. It sounds bad to do it that way but in practice you are only modifying most stats once per turn.

Silver Crusade

There is no time consumed in making an improvement. BPs are an abstract concept reflecting money, labor, and goods wherein projects may already be started and completed on a turn in which BPs are "spent."

Otherwise, per p205, each "turn" is one month.

*edit as per Gauss*
