Any way to get both the Fire and Protection (Defence) domains on the same cleric?

Advice

I am stating up and evil NPC and want to break as few rules as possible while giving him these domains. Asmodeus (or and other devil) is the preferred way to go but I can not find out what his domains are because all of my books are at a friends house.

The Fire domain is a must because I need wall of fire but the other domain seams nice for its auras and domain spells. I can ditch it for a better.

Asmodeus does not have the Protection domain. None of the Core 20 deities has Fire and Protection. 'Closest' are Abadar with Earth and Protection, and Nethys with Destruction and Protection.

I believe you're looking for the Separatist archetype.

Scarab Sages

Harborym works if you don't mind worshiping an infernal duke.

Thank you so much! Harborym works and so does sparatist since he is 10th level and still would be able to get the 8th level ability.

carrion crown background info:
I am running Wake the watcher right now and I am upping the encounter with skum cleric in the migo tunnels. He sold his soul to the devil in order to get rid of the migo. The devil is doing nothing to further this deal since he knows the PCs are coming and will do it for him. Would be nice if he could cash in all those tasty souls right away though. With Harborym this could be the first step in capturing Shub-Niggurath.

You could always just go cleric of a philosophy/ideal, though I admit I can't think of a way to reconcile Fire and Protection into a coherent philosophy.

"To save this village I shall have to burn it to the ground, shame about that..."

Other than that, you could simply be a cleric who believes that when the defenses aren't going to cut it, burning it to the ground first might help?

To the first: That was my thought, though if this is PFS/Golarion that's not an option.

To the second: Early/primitive man would be willing to help you.

I take it you two are city boys. ;)

Fire keeps A Lot of creatures at bay.

[Edit: Also, if you're from warmer regions or don't camp in winter much, to people in cold climates (esp. pre-electricity) fire is pretty darn protective against your biggest threat (cold).]

Yes, yes I am.

There's also the 'Fire Cleanses' aspect, I suppose ... and Fire usually seems to include the Sun, so you get the 'enemies hide in darkness, the light reveals them' thing.

Basically... if it's Int is 2-3 or less, and it's not unnatural (exp. Undead), overly accustomed to people (exp. wild city dogs), exceptionally aggresive (exp. owlbears maybe) or starving, a camp fire usually and a bon fire for sure will keep it away 9 times of 10.

In Africa a low cost method to keep lions away is just to string up lights. In the US lights can keep coyotes away from hen houses/etc (LoL well... deter them. Some figure out lights at night don't nec. mean threat).
Fire being of course the classic way of making light.

Thanks all pretty sure I am going to go with Harborym on this one. Have to say lot of good answers though. I can totally see they two together now that I have got my mind out of the city.

Since it's obviously not for flavor of any kind (as you're struggling to find a deity that covers it, for example), what mechanical reason do you have to want those domains?

Scarab Sages

Using the Archives of Nethys deity section, there is only one deity with both Fire and Protection.

Name - Alignment - Spheres - Domains - F. Weapon - Source
Yamatsumi - N - mountains, volcanoes, winter - Earth, Fire, Protection, Strength, Water - tetsubo - Dragon Empires Gazetteer pg. 58

If your NPC is evil, then make him Neutral Evil and you can choose Yamatsumi.

@mplindustries, I like the lower level spells and the aura from defense and I want wall of fire so that grapplers in the encounter can try and drag the PC through it. They will be covered by protection from energy fire.
