1.)How does obtaining a new beast form work in the game? If I see it, am I able to potentially replicate it's anatomy with a successful Knowledge Nature check?
2.)Can I at least become familiar with a beast's anatomy and "save it for later" before I actually get my WildShape ability(still being druid of course)?
3.) Is there a proper way of handling how to copy and/or transform through my druid levels?
Is there anything else I should know?

It can save a lot of headache to rule that the druid is automatically 'familiar' with the animals of her homeland. When she wants to wildshape into something new, then she can do some knowledge (nature) check to see if she's familiar enough not to screw up.
I mean, it's not like every sorcerer needs to role-play every single spell she newly gains. There's just not enough time to cater for all that in my experience :(

So I don't actually have to run into something face-to-face to obtain it's form?
Knowledge: Nature roll. Difficulty as listed above.
Bonus on the roll perhaps if the PC has encountered creature before (GMs call), but not needed to just make the roll.
It's not meant to be difficult.
Edit: Also bonuses with access to books about nature or GM allowing aid another (Put the Barbarian or Rangers skills to use helping yours, make em work for their buffs ;) )

If it's for Society, there's no rules written that I'm aware of. If you want to change into an Allosaurus, and then into a Black Bear, and then into an Anaconda, I believe you can just do it.
If it's for a home game, ask your GM, or make up your own system. This isn't something that can really be fine tuned into a rule.
