Axebeak mounts?

Rules Questions

While searching through threads on mounted combat, I've noticed a fair amount of posts featuring axebeaks. How do people gain these birds as mounts? I've looked through cavalier resources, but even the Beast Rider archetype doesn't include axebeaks. Is this all through specific GM approval, or are people multiclassing into druid?

The Exchange

its setting-specific i think. the reference that ive seen was that there are a lot of axebeaks used as mounts in Absalon.

Scarab Sages

There is a specific Pathfinder Society Chronicle that allows classes with the mount or Animal Companion class features to select an Axebeak as their animal companion.

Thanks!

In Pathfinder Society, I believe completing all three "Quest for Perfection" scenarios and having the Chronicle Sheet for each then grants you the option of taking an Axebeak
