Magic for a Orc Scarred Witch

Hey guys, I have a 3rd level Scarred Witch and I'm trying to decide where i want to go regarding magic. I need armour, as she likes to mix it up. Since I'm limited, thoughts? Robes, rings, etc? Any non-AC magic item that are a "must have" for this build?

Armor? You're a Witch, you hate arcane spell failure... maybe mithral shirt if you pick up Arcane Armor.
