Advice

Liberty's Edge

So I have only played Pathfinder a short while, but I've been intrigued at the propsect of outfitting some of my martial characters with reach weapons. I can easily find advice on reach clerics and fighters.

Are there any tweaks to keep in mind if I wanted to go with a reach paladin, or even a reach barbarian?

The only thing to keep in mind is to equip your characters with a gauntlet or armor spikes to threaten within the area that the reach weapon doesn't. Otherwise using reach weapons really doesn't have anything to do with your class.

paladinoath of savagery.

I would personally highly recommend against the Paladin Oath Against Savagery. You use Smites to increase reach, but if you're playing a Paladin actually Smiting Evil is much more useful than an additional 5ft of reach. Not to mention you give up Divine Grace, which allows you to add your Charisma modifier to all your saves. IMO, those two things are too good to give up for a little additional reach.

Get a ring of enlarge person and a reach weapon. 20ft reach will be plenty.
