I searched but didn't see an answer...
Can you replace a natural attack with a combat maneuver?
As I understand it you can replace a regular unarmed attack or weapon attack with a combat maneuver. As in trip/ disarm instead of swing with a sword.
You can attempt to disarm your opponent in place of a melee attack
Natural attacks can have grab and such built in with a hit, but can you use them to attempt a maneuver to bypass trying to attack altogether?

A Natural Attack involves natural weapons. Some maneuvers you could use with natural weapons, others not really.
As far as any special abilities applying, they specifically say they apply on successful attacks, not combat maneuvers because they aren't the same as actual attacks..
In addition, your example would be targeting the person's weapon, ergo the grab ability works on the weapon, not the person.
Hope that clears things up!

Basically I mean if I have bite claw, could I instead trip, disarm?
Also, normally a grapple is a standard (i think) so normally you can't use a grapple in place of a normal atack, but if you had grapple attached to bite could you then grapple, disarm instead orf bite, claw since your bite has grapple linked to it.

Also, since anything that gives bonuses to an attack roll can also give a bonus to your CMB, when appropriate, such as the +1 enhancement bonus on a magical weapon when making sunder attempts, similar bonuses to your natural attacks (such as weapon focus) would also apply when using your natural attacks for combat maneuvers.
