Today I will creating my very first PFS character and will be playing my first PFS game on Sunday.
I will be building a Magus, either a Hexcrafter or Hexcrafter/Bladebound. Is there any advice that people can give me to help my character survive the first few scenarios (which from what I've heard are pretty tough). Also any character advice that people can give would also be appreciated.

Just play smart. These scenarios are written by 1 person. So you have to out think that one person. If you have a spell caster spam detect magic before going in somewhere. You will pick up badguys if they hol dmagic items like potions, magic traps, and an assortment of things.
As for the magus build. You can search the forums and find tons of build advbice on it.

Spend a few prestige points and buy a wand of Infernal healing or Cure light wounds. Unless you play with a regular group, and sometimes even if you do, healing can come up short without notice early on. Especially with the poor action economy available at those levels. You can use any wand on your spell list, or get UMD as a skill and roll, or hand it to someone who has UMD or a spell list that includes it (though you put it back in your bag at the end of the adventure). Also worth thinking of one or two other handy things you might want a wand of.

Be thoughtful about spending money. Yes, spend it, but try to do so wisely, and recognize that you'll need to go through about 10-20 percent as consumables.
Non-example:
Buy regular short bow
Sell shortbow
Buy MW shortbow
Sell MW shortbow
Buy MW composite longbow built for strength
Upgrade to magic longbow
Example:
Buy four javelins
Use javelins
Spend 2 PA for Mw longbow built for 14 Str
Buy oil of magic weapon

Cheers for the tips guys. I've been playing pathfinder (and TTRPG in general) for around 5 years now, but as this is my first foray into PFS just wanted to be sure that this won't be a whole new game to face and wanted to get as much preperation into this character.
I've read almost all the guides in the Guide to the Guides thread and I've experimented with classes for far longer then those, but there is no "Tips for surviving PFS Play" guide.
