Fine sized weapons

Rules Questions

Alright, so I have a player that needs a fine sized weapon. The listing on the chart for most of them says -, which clearly indicated no damage. But does that mean no damage at all, or no damage from the weapon? In other words, if you have a positive strength modifier, would you still add that to the weapons damage?
On a related note, if it does deal no damage at all, do you still get to apply sneak attack?

The minimum damage you can do if you hit with an attack (before applying DR and hardness) is 1. Even if you have a negative strength modifier that reduces the damage below 1, it still does 1. Sneak attack doesn't depend on the weapon damage getting through the DR. Even if DR reduces the damage, you still apply sneak attack.

Sweet. Thanks.

if you would deal less that 1 you do 1 non-lethal damage.

...Can you do a Coup de Grace with a fine sized weapon that deals nonlethal?

If so, the that would basically make it hard to distinguish it from a weapon that does 1 lethal damage since both typically would just be you whittling away at an opponent until they pass out and then finishing them off afterwards. Well, except that this would still be affected by the restrictions of nonlethal attacks (such as the fact that some opponents are immune)

On another notes: I just imagined a rogue taking someone out with nonlethal sneak attack on a toothpick. My day just got better.

If you can spend a full-round action to use a fine weapon to line up someone's jugular and you manage to get it just right, and they fail the save, I don't see why that would make them any less boned than being decapitated by a large scythe.
