Alchemist grenadier, need advice

Advice

my english suck
my zen archer just got pounced to death, i will take this occasion to try out the alchemist grenadier! I really like the alchemist class and the bombs feature, and grenadier let me something to do when i run out of bombs, my only regret is brew potion, i dont know if brew potion is an hard loss, but i can always take it later.
We use a 15 point buy for the creation, we are at level 3, all original material is allowed except for alternate class bonus, so i'm stuck with the bonus hp or skill rank.

Alchemist grenadier, human

Ability score

str 9
cos 10
dex 14
int 16 +2 human = 18
car 9
sag 12

lv 1: 2 feats,1 weapon prof,
lv 2: discovery, precise bomb extra discovery
lv 3: 1 feats.

i have to choose 3 feats ,a discovery and a weapon prof, for the weapon i believe a bow is a safe bet, straight better than a crossbow, but a repeating cross bow has surely his fashion (repeating crossbow is martial, not exotic in my campaign)

i have drafted some feats but i dont know what to take first

extra discovery: no need to explain
precise shot: i'm ranged, so it is a feat tax
splash weapon mastery: it do so many things
brew potion: its worth it? i have little to no experience with craft in pathfinder

discovery:
infusion
smoke/stink bombs
acid bombs

any advice on how to build him ?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Precise needs point blank as a pre-req. Also point blank applies to bombs. Just the bomb damage itself mind you, not the splash. But still good.

In regards to brew potion, I would suggest that if you're taking brew potion you might not need infusion. Since you can brew anything from your formula list anyway if i'm remembering right.

Bow or repeating crossbow are good options. But remember you're taking -1 to damage on your bow attacks. Also that the grenadier alchemical ammunition ability applies to things like acid flask, not your bombs.
