Tattoed sorcerer archetype and serpentine bloodline - 2 familiars or overwrite?

Tattoed sorcerer archetype gives you a tattoo familiar on level 1.
Serpentine bloodline gives you a viper familiar on level 3.
What happens if you take both?
You end up with two familiars or your tattoo familiar suddenly becomes a viper at level 3?

I'd say you'd have to start with the viper, or dismiss and get a viper. No doubling up!

Pretty much what Gecko said. You essentially get a tattoed viper familliar. Or pass on the viper entirely.

So the class features stack, which means: you have a viper familiar at your CL2X-2. Or ... I'm not sure. You can't forgo class features just because you'd prefer not to (see classes with drawbacks), so.

Tattoed Familiar & Serpentfriend have the same effect (you gain a familiar) but are 2 differents abilities. So for me, you have 2 familiars.

Liberty's Edge

If you get 2 familiars, in PFS, you'd only get to use one in any given scenario.

So it is possible to get two familiars, even if you would only be plaing with one in PFS?

That´s rather dissatisfactory, because it isn´t levels of different classes, but an archetype that replaces a class feature and another class feature that both give you something similar, only one is more special then the other. Special over normal is also questionable in this case i think. While no doubling up would make that feature of the archetype nearly useless (except for the tattoo ability).
