A Theurge of Fire and Ice

Advice

Alright, I'm busy building a Mystic Theurge for an upcoming campaign. My current plan is to use a Sorcerer Gnome (for some reason, we're going for an all Gnome party) with the Pyromaniac racial trait and Elemental Fire bloodline, and jumping into Oracle later.

Obviously, I can fairly well with fire spells. I would like to, however, be able to cast a second element fairly well. Ice is a good one (as the title puts it) but I'm open to any second element. I'd especially be interested in something that mimicked the 'treat (this element) as one level higher' ability of Pyromaniac.

Unfortunately, the GM wasn't very impressed with my last character, a fighter able to deal 5d6 damage per hit with 35 AC at level 14 and blamed it on my use of third party feats. So I'm limiting myself to Paizo materials.

Any suggestions?

Hmmmm; how about consulting the Blockbuster guide? Go Wizard on one side and gain the ability to change the element of your evocation spells many times a day to whatever you want (iceball!).

Offhand, I'd agree with Arkwright that the Admixturer is a better bet for a blaster (no other element switching ability comes close), but I can see the appeal of all Charisma casting for a Theurge. Waves or Winter Oracle can slow enemies that fail against cold spells and Flames Orcale can set enemies that fail saves against fire spells on fire (I find the latter much more entertaining). Other than that, I'm not aware of any Oracle features that figure into elemental blasting.

You need some way to shift your spells to any other element though - fire resistance is really common. Either choose a different element for your bloodline, take Elemental Spell, or even a two level dip in Diabolist. (And if you aren't going to choose Elemental(not fire) as your bloodline, I'd suggest taking either Primal or Draconic instead - the best blasts are already fire spells; you're better off with bonus damage on your fireball than with throwing around firebolts or cones of fire.)

Silver Crusade

Does it have to be MT? What about gnome pyromaniac Bard/Sorc with the Fire Music feat?
