Half-Elf Dragon Disciple
Classes and Levels-
Paladin 2/ Sorcerer 1/ Paladin 1/ Monk 1/ Dragon Disciple 10
Archetypes-
Irorian or Enlightened Paladin/ Vanilla Sorcerer/ Scaled Fist Monk
Stat priority-
cha>str>con>dex>wis>int
The monk dip will allow you to add your cha to ac while unarmored since you'll be casting at least sometimes. The Paladin archetype adds IUS at first which will help with feats. the archetype also adds your cha bonus to your dex bonus but this probably does not stack with scaled fist. If it doesn't stack I'd stick with the archetype but would only dip 2 levels and add another sorcerer level instead.
Feats-
1 - Power Attack
3 - Weapon Focus (claws)
5 - Feral Combat Training
5 - Dragon Style
7 - Dragon Ferocity
Traits-
Magical Knack - required
Multi-disciplined alt race trait should stack with magical knack and it should work since you have two casting classes.
The feats allow you dish out some serious damage but you're no barbarian. The casting should keep you relevant going into mid and late game. Mage Armor stacks with unarmored defense and you'll have natural armor. I wouldn't recommend rays or range in general since dragon disciple is pretty much a melee class that can buff itself.

That looks like it'd be a great build...unfortunately, my GM isn't interested in archetypes.
that blows...
Monk 1/ Paladin 2/ Sorcerer 2/ Dragon Disciple 10stat proirity is the same
magical knack still needed
monk dip still worth for IUS and unarmed damage
feats are delayed a level at
1 Power Attack
1 Dodge
3 Weapon Focus
5 Feral Combat Training
7 Dragon Style
9 Dragon Ferocity
Not as good but it was about flavor not effectiveness. Try getting your GM into archetypes anyways

Without archetypes, you may want to go half-elf* paladin 2**/sorcerer 4/dragon disciple 4***/eldritch knight 10 to end up with +17 BAB and spell progression as a 16th level sorcerer (8th-level spells).
If using traits:Pal 1- Magical Knack (Sorcerer), one other trait; Power Attack, Skill Focus (Knowledge (Arcana))****
Pal 2
Sor 1- Arcane Armor Training*****
Sor 2- +1 Cha
Sor 3- Eldritch Heritage (Abyssal)*****
Sor 4
DD 1- feat
DD 2- +1 Cha
DD 3- feat
DD 4
EK 1- Improved Eldritch Heritage (Strength of the Abyss)
...
At paladin 2/sorcerer 4/dragon disciple 4/eldritch knight 4 (on gaining 5th level spells), retrain the Arcane Armor Training feat to Quicken Spell.
Basically, this progression uses dragon disciple and Improved Eldritch Heritage to increase Str, allowing all of the normal ability score increases to go into Cha.
*- for extra skill ranks with Multitalented; paladin and sorcerer are both 2 + Int mod skill ranks per level and Int will not be a high priority
**- Divine Grace for Cha bonus on all saves
***- +4 Str and +3 natural armor
****- from Adaptability
*****- if not using traits, switch the order these are taken
