Something I have always boggled on is the massive 80 ft. burst of the Sunburst spell, I have to wonder, is this 80 feet in every direction,(as in the n/s/e/w directions on a flat map) or is it 80 ft, TOTAL (so you would get 40 feet west, 40 feet east, 40 north, 40 south.)
It says 80' radius. You know what a radius is, right? That means 160' across the diameter, total.
I was afraid of that since since it makes it even more restrictive. 160' feet all around is something that would catch the party unless it is tossed outside and pretty much past the edge of the map.
Would make the spell more practical to just cut the radius in half, just much coverage does one need?
