New FAQ says that spells that make multiple simultaneous attacks only apply sneak attack once, but what if you are attacking multiple targets?

Take scorching ray for example. The FAQ makes it clear that hitting a single target with all four rays would only allow you to apply sneak attack once. But what if I hit four creatures with one ray each? Could they all take sneak attack damage if they all qualified for it (such as being flat-footed)?

Scarab Sages

The faq says "one or more targets", which would include firing all your scorching rays at different targets. So, pick just one for your sneak attack damage.

Did it? I must have overlooked it somehow.

Sneak Attack: Can I add sneak attack damage to simultaneous attacks from a spell?

No. For example, scorching ray fires simultaneous rays at one or more targets, and the extra damage is only added once to one ray, chosen by the caster when the spell is cast.
Spell-based attacks which are not simultaneous, such as multiple attacks per round by a 8th-level druid using flame blade, may apply sneak attack damage to each attack so long as each attack qualifies for sneak attack (the target is denied its Dex bonus or the caster is flanking the target).
