In the right build it is worth it.
Consider, nearly all fighter builds take WF, Wpn Spec, Gtr Wpn Fcs.
Three feats that grant +2 to hit and damage with 1 weapon only.
Where as Blindfight is a great feat, Combat Expertise IS a tax, but also a gateway feat to some good ones (Imp trip for example)
Then moonlight stalker.
1. You need a reliable way to get concealment or be invisible.
2. You need enough uses to make it worth it. Or a spell with enough duration to last all combat.
3. Must be any race besides human (or a human who has gained better vision through class abilities)
I have 3 examples.
1. Any magus. Blur, Invisibility, Gtr is on thier list. So Blur became a spell that grants 20% concealment AND turns on moonlight stalker and lasts all combat. Magai can also be good at stealth in general.
Plus a Magus can cast TRUE STRIKE as part of spell combat. Meaning combat expertise as a way to get a Manuvere feat is also not a waste.
Example: (any race w/darkvision)
1. Rime Spell (Frostbite)
3. Enforcer
5. Bonus Feat: Blindfight, Combat Expertise
7. MOONLIGHT STALKER
Makes a Magus that can do the all awesome Rime Frostbite Intimidating trick AND use moonlight stalker via Blur AND pursue a Manuvere feat if you wish.
A cleric of Zon Kuthon with the DARKNESS, War domains.
You get Blindfight for free and 1st level and your first level domain power let's you smack a foe to get concealment from them.
BUY A CONDUCTIVE WEAPON!!
1- Blindfight, Combat Expertise
3- Moonlight Stalker
5- Power Attack
7- whatever
8- YOU GET THE WEAPON MASTER DOMAIN POWER. You qualify for any damn feat you want that has PA or Combat Expertise as a preq.
3. War domain or Darkness Domain Inquisitor is also decent with a similar chain.
They have to work a little harder. Darkness spell and Deeper Darkness Gtr Invisibility is thier first combat long spells.

I have a 9th level PFS rogue with the Moonlight chain, and finally got the Lesser Cloak of Displacement I needed to pull the combo together. Swift action feints have really made my rogue pop, with his +29 Bluff check, but until I dropped 24K on the cloak, I didn't get much mileage out of Moonlight Stalker. Chugging potions of Blur was the most reliable way to get concealment, so if you are willing to drop the cash on consumables, it pays off OK. Not sure if it's worth it just for the bonus to hit and damage if a swift feint isn't useful to you.
