I'm having a bit of trouble with some of the finer details for this character of mine. I did make sure to check what and what wasn't allowed well in advance.

A few short-term goals I got are getting stuff like Sleeves of Many Garments, a fancy pocketwatch, and a few other things to complete the image of a sort of Princely Shaman. My only long term goal at this point is reaching Level 7 so I can cast Awaken at level 12 to make my lion smart like hopefully 20 Intelligence smart just because I could.
What I'm unsure of is only three things. How many skill points my lion would get and stats since the one I can find is the 5HD version of it: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/animals/cat-great/lion
The second thing being what faction, and just saying it now I don't really see my character being Chelaxian.

Crunchy!
so you used a special ability to bump a stat from 10 to 12, saving 2 points.
you arguably should have bumped a 12 to a 14, saving 3 points.
this would allow you to bump Int to 13 so you qualify for feats, or str to 11 for carry capacity, etc.
you should have one stat as an odd number. Probably Wis.
Why?
You get +1 to ability score at levels 4, 8, 12.
If you add 3 to an even number, you get an odd number, no bonus! eep!
Create Water saves you carry capacity, puts out fires, and helps clean. Great cantrip. Guidance is great at low levels. +1 to a skill check is never a bad thing.
Other than that, it is all flavor you like stuff, so no comment from me!
Core Rulebook has stats for cats. Check the PRD listing for druid.

@ Akinra: Thank you for the suggestions, I was looking it over and a 13 CON might work out well enough for having 13 INT and 11 STR since part of the point was that the lion itself is more a front line fighter than the druid who is more of a INT/WIS/CHA kind of guy. Yeah I was thinking of orisons that a royal druid would choose though Create Water sounds pretty good in place of Know Direction. Plus a Wayfinder functions pretty well in its place when later it gets further augmented by an Ioun Stone. Will look in the rulebook for cat stats.
@: Sober Caydenite: Drat, even slightly more bummed out now that I see that the Collar of the True Companion is also banned...
Oh well though as it wasn't for any build anyway aside from fluff wise being able to carry on intelligent conversations with a 20 INT Lion. Thank you for letting me know that Sober Caydenite.

Dual Talent's best usage is in acquring scores that are normally cost-prohibitive, and for classes who'll be using two attributes very frequently (such as paladins and monks). You'll need CHA as a druid, but not that much. If you're eschewing strength, that suggests ranged attacking, so DEX should be higher.
15/14/12/12/12/12 array....
STR:12
DEX+16 or 17
CON:14
INT:12
WIS+17 or 16
CHA:12
You have chosen two traits and a feat which, combined, will grant you three more class skills. I would suggest that you're probably not reaaly going to need all of those (especially since it seems geared to flavor rather than utility); and it's unlikely you'll have room on the plate for keeping them all advanced with modest INT and forfeiting the normal human ability to gain an extra skill point per level.

I would personally suggest you get a short or long bow or maybe perhaps a crossbow if you plan to stick with your 11/14/13/13/12/16 build for a druid.
I do actually get why the build looks not as optimized though then when compared to what one would expect out of a druid much less a Lion Shaman. Hes going for a prince whose only real qualties come from:
- He is a somebody unlike many who lived like street urchins, on rural farms, or a middle-lower or just middle class life.
- He chose a big and powerful lion who has the archetype bodyguard since he would rather not get his hands dirty since the prince doesn't appear to be much of a fighter himself.
- Detect Poison, Purify Food and Water, and Create Water all seem natural for a person who is of royal blood.
Unfortunately the prestige class that would perfectly go with this in PFS is Noble Scion and that works off getting more gold, using leadership which are seen as big no nos.
To me its really a tough choice to say keep or change what the character currently is as it is very atypical.
