Wayangs, what are they good for?

Advice

Shadow Lodge

Just unlocked the Wayang race by GMing at a local con, now what?

What class(es) benefit the most from a small creature with a boost to Int, and Dex?

Illusionist Wizard?

The Exchange

Only small creature that doesn't take a penalty to strength.

Absolutely nothing. Say it again.

Rogue seems obvious to me. Ac bonus, lots of skills, and no strong penalty for dagger damage.

Yeah, I mean saying they are good for enough is unfair to the race. I listed one of their strengths. They make amazing Arcane tricksters, illusionist wizard with a bit of rogue.

Most people insist tht cavaliers are built for small creatures. If you don't care how your wayang became a cavalier then this is prefect for them. Small size with a Lance on a wolf with no penalty to strength. Makes them just as viable in terms of numbers to a medium creature.

They have racial spell-like abilities that opens the way for a number of feats that require a caster level. Such as arcane strike. They are one of the best small races in my opinion, they are limited by their appearence and little use or knowledge of the race.

Shadow Lodge

TWF ninja/cleric(dip) of a darkness deity.

...and lack of available racial traits, feats (etc).
