Hi,
My group has a downtime hobby of building a settlement in the downtime system.
But there is some questions that came up which i did not know the answer for.
I could not find any rules for building roads, and in this case the quality for said roads, which should help with traveling time and so forth (important for trade).
My playgroup has found the "lyre of building" (rappan athuk) and want to use this to its fullest.
Could they actually collect capital in form of labor with help from this magic item or should it only be applied after thay have collected all the capitals and reduce the building time for the buildings to about almost nothing at all.
Playing the lyre for 30 min is the same as 100 men working for 3 days, 8 hours per day. Thats a lot of labor they gather and then convert to other capital. Which means they really dont have to do anything then playing the harp once a week.
How should i deal with this lyre? I do not want o forbid the use, but i need help with what they can and cannot do with it.
