RAPID SHOT
"When making a full-attack action with a ranged weapon..."
Does this mean the whole full attack is made only with a single ranged weapon, multiple ranged weapons or can the full attack be mixed with melee?
For example, can a gunslinger with rapid shot and two weapon fighting do this?
enemy 10 ft away
GS: fire shot one
GS: fire shot two with rapid shot(using a multi barreled gun or quickdraw)
GS: 5 foot step in
GS: off hand attack with melee
this would likely only be a lower level stunt and might not really be all that effective but its a fun image.

I don't see any problem with that.
To get more than one attack, you need to make a full attack. In your example, you do. Rapid Shot requires you to make a full attack with a ranged weapon. You are using a ranged weapon in a full attack, so that counts. Two-Weapon Fighting does not require two melee weapons nor does it require two ranged weapons, so having one of each is perfectly acceptable.
So it all works.
If you have the TWF feat, your penalties would be -4 on all attack rolls, including the melee attack, since the feat says "All your attacks" rather than "All your ranged attacks" - and that assumes your melee weapon is light, or the penalties will be higher.

I don't see why not. A few corrections, however.
Even with two separate weapons being used, both are considered "main-hand" weapons unless you're leveraging TWF to get attacks in excess of your normal iterative limit. For example, if you have 3 iterative attacks, a Revolver in 1 hand and a Longsword in the other, you could make a Full-Attack and take your first shot with Revolver + 1 more from Rapid Shot, and still have 2 normal iteratives left. Then, you 5' step in and make your -5 and -10 main-hand iteratives with the Longsword.
-Or-
You can have all that and declare that, in addition to using Rapid shot, you're also using TWF with Unarmed Strike as your off-hand weapon. You start with your first iterative and rapid shot bonus with the revolver, step in, make your remaining iterative attacks with Longsword and your off-hand attack(s) (depending whether you have ITWF/GTWF) with Unarmed Strikes. Sure, you'll tank the attack penalty from both TWF and Rapid Shot to all attacks made, but there it is.

I am speaking BAB below 6. Shot one and the rapid shot are intended to be main hand. Then we step in to smack somebody in the face with some sort of a light weapon as my offhand Doodad. So, we have a -4 to all three attacks. Certainly not a big penalty for the gun touch attacks. the off hand melee will be hindered a bit without weapon finesse though.
