The way I read the rules for movement, nothing says you can move into an enemies square when they are invisible, which to me makes this entry under invisibility
"A creature can grope about to find an invisible creature. A character can make a touch attack with his hands or a weapon into two adjacent 5-foot squares using a standard action. If an invisible target is in the designated area, there is a 50% miss chance on the touch attack. If successful, the groping character deals no damage but has successfully pinpointed the invisible creature's current location. If the invisible creature moves, its location, obviously, is once again unknown."
pretty worthless, as you could spend a move action to move through all the squares you could trying to find an enemy to kill. As soon as you tried to enter their square you'd be informed you can't legally enter that square and you'd know the invisible creature is there.

The method you used would provoke an AO, but I suppose that's usually not an issue (unless it's darkness/deeper-darkness/greater-invisibility).
Makes me wonder if movement would have a 50% chance to miss collision with though or something. Logically speaking the 5 foot square is pretty big, and rules wise can still rather easily fit 2 normal creatures.
I think I remember hearing a vaguely similar issue once before. Something about a troll charging down a hallway where there's an invisible character.

well you can stick a lit grenade in someone's back pocket while invisible since your not directly harming the person and its a sleight of hand roll
Causing harm indirectly is not an attack. Thus, an invisible being can open doors, talk, eat, climb stairs, summon monsters and have them attack, cut the ropes holding a rope bridge while enemies are on the bridge, remotely trigger traps, open a portcullis to release attack dogs, and so forth.
so that seams very useful.
