Timely Inspiration and Aid Another

So....would you be able to Aid Another on a skill check, or attack. Then if they fail be able to cast Timely Inspiration?

Not sure if the act of Aiding Another would allow for time to cast the spell, or activate a wand in time to help.

aid another is a standard action, timely inspiration is a immediate. I dont see why not, especially considering that timely inspiration is applied retroactively.

Aid another is a non-typed bonus. Timely Inspiration is a competence bonus. They will stack.

However, the spell will not stack with inspire courage.
