For those of you who have seen it, the Gearhead looks like an AMAZINGLY fun class to play, and I'm interested in seeing what kind of potential you guys see in the class's playability. So, let's take a moment (or two...or a dozen) to come up with a nice build for a Gearhead of any concentration. I'm interested to see what you guys can come up with!

Do you have a link to the class? Given that the setting is currently in testing, it's actually quite likely that a large number of us aren't going to have seen it. I'd love to take a look at it, since I love steampunk and magepunk (or dungeonpunk/magicpunk, whatever you want to call it) themed games and fiction.

If you head to their website and check the forums, you should be able to find it. Last I checked, the Gearhead was in playtest. I haven't had a chance to really check it out yet.
I personally love the setting and can't wait for it to be officially released. That being said, I'm not sure how much we can really discuss about it on these forums.

Thank you for starting up this thread, NaturalSuccess, and for your devoted enthusiasm!
I would love for the Gearhead to see some public testing; contraption ideas, character builds, ideas, suggestions, anything!
The Gearhead playtest can be accessed here.
We are nearing the end of Pure Steam's final development phase, however, so any suggestions you have will need to be posted before the end of July if you want them to make it into the final print version.
I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with!

I'm really enjoying the setting thus far, but I haven't had the chance to play a Gearhead, or really to see too much in play in my groups sessions. Our GM had one as a baddie in our campaign, but we killed him before I was able to see what he could do, which sorta got me thinking about building one myself, btu I haven't truly had the time to sit down and get one together. I do want to see how a nicely built Gearhead would run, though.
