Bloatmage drinking his own blood?

Rules Questions

The bloat mage prestige class has a capstone of drinking a sorcerer's or creature's blood and gaining bloodline abilities related to it.
1) Can a sorcerer get its bloodline abilities again?
2) What would happen if a sorcerer drank a cross-blooded sorcerer's blood?
3) If a sorcerer drank blood of a sorcerer with a bloodline it has, but not completely (through cross blooded) then do they gain the remaining abilities?
4) If a character (sorcerer or otherwise) gets bloodline abilities through eldritch heritage, does it get these in addition to bloodline abilities gained through this capstone?

1) It already has them. Gaining them again does nothing.
2) GM discretion. I would say it would have to choose one of the bloodlines ability to gain, or only gain the ability that the cross-blooded target actually has. The first is easier.
3) See 2.
4) I assume the question is asking if drinking the blood of a person with Eldrich Heritage would convey any bonus to the bloat mage. Again a GM call but I would say no as the blood could be seen as too weak. Also since the ability specifically calls for "sorcerer blood". But I can also see some GM's allowing it since the potency of the blood does not seem to matter for the bloat mage ability to function.

A bloat mage keeping a harem of level 1 sorcerers with different bloodlines suddenly sounds like a fun evil character to play.

1) makes a difference, because a sorc 10, bloatmage 10 has sorc ability at level 10, after drinking his blood he has it at 20.

The Exchange

Thank you very much for making me picture a bloatmage Willy Wonka.

"Even I am edible; but that is called 'cannibalism,' children, and it is frowned upon in most societies."

Just realized its bloodmage not bloatmage XD

Ok thanks makes sense so far. To clarify on #4, say I'm a wizard blood mage, and I have eldritch heritage (undead) for some reason. If I drink the blood of an undead-based sorcerer do I get the full undead bloodline abilities + eldritch heritage, or just full undead bloodline?

it is Bloatmage. D20pfsrd has had to change a number of things since they instituted their store, including changing the names of a good number of prestige classes (since Golarion stuff isn't OGL, i think). If you check Archives of Nethys (another great resource site), you can still find them under their original names. Bloatmage -> Bloodmage is a pretty easy thing to follow, but some of them... Knight of Ozem -> Celestial Knight, or Balanced Scale of Abadar -> Divine Assessor are a little more of a jump, and may cause some issues down the line if you are unable to locate their originals.

I realize that the above doesn't acutally help you at all, so...

1) As Carn said. You already have the bloodline, so you couldn’t add it again, but the way your bloodline is calculated would make sense to change.
2) The way it is written makes it sound fairly singular to me (granted when it was written up there really was no way to have more than one, so it makes sense). I’d say GM discretion, with my personal manner of handling it being that you receive a single bloodline determined at random.
3) Once again I’d say GM discretion.
4) The way the capstone is written it requires sorcerer blood or “blood of an affiliated creature,” so I can see an argument being made that Eldritch heritage causes them to be affiliated, but honestly I don’t think I’d let that float in my own games. As with the 3 above, though, I’d say it comes down to GM discretion as well.

Thanks for the responses, however I think my last question has some confusion. I'm not asking about drinking the blood of a creature with eldritch heritage. If me, the player and bloatmage, has eldritch heritage of a bloodline, can I get those bloodline abilities a second time through drinking blood? Or is there no way for a player to have the abilities of a bloodline multiple times?
