Building ability scores

Rules Questions

I am currently playing a Wizard and he has a 29 INT. It breaks down like this....

18 starting score
2 Racial
4 headband
2 Tome
3 4th, 8th, 12th Level

I understand that I easily have a +2 for levels and another +2 for the headband. There is also a +3 from another Tome. I could eventually age him for an additional +3(while adjusting the other stats accordingly as well). That could give him an INT of 39. My question to this and honestly for ANY caster: How would you get the ability score up to 45 like the Bonus spells for high ability scores table shows???

Generally, you can't. You'd have to be a race with more than a +2 to Int. A Serpentfolk, for example, with the same build and equipment, would have 45 Intelligence.

Liberty's Edge

You pretty much don't (though there's probably a roundabout way or three). The table's designed to include things like monsters as well, though. Vampires have a +4 to Charisma, which could easily take that to 43, as just one example.

EDIT: Ninja'd!

Are you including a +5 from the Wish spell?

You can't stack the wish spell and tomes...inherent bonuses for an ability score cannot go higher than +5

become a lich, its another 2 points to all metal stats

The +5 from Tomes is the +5 from Wishes, since they're both Inherent bonuses. You can't stack 'em.

EDIT: Ninja'd again.

Ah, my bad. Knew I should have looked it up before posting. :D
