Magical Lineage and Infernal Healing

Hi
What are your thougts about this combination? Infernal Healing does not contain any variables. But an extended Infernal Healing, healing 20 hp. over 20 rounds at level 1, seems rather cool for a Sorcerer.

The fighter comes limping complain about an arrow in his butt aften the fight is over.
"This is just a flesh wound, go see if the Cleric can spare a cure light wound.

Out of combat, it'll work well.

You mean beyond the fact that at level one you don't have access to 2nd level spells and can't cast an extended infernal healing and you can't afford a metamagic rod of extend either to use with it?

And isn't it a first level spell? In which case, extend doubles the spell slot used. So you could either use extend or cast it twice. One uses two first level spell slots while the other uses 1 2nd level spell slot but would heal for the same amount either way.

Edit: Just remembered what Magical Lineage does. I guess its okay, but there are still other possible better things you could use Magical Lineage on that would be better overall. Besides, a wand of cure light wounds is still cheap and you don't have to bother with preparing all your first level spells as Infernal Healing.

Hi Claxon

Infernal Healing is a 1 level spell.

I agree it is better used with a spontainous caster. As a Sorcerer you could take the trait and the feat at first level, but at the cost of one less spell known.

Scarab Sages

I would use a metamagic rod instead of burning a trait and a feat.

It's not like your going to need heals much above the 10 point mark at 1st level.
