Advice

First time playing pathfinder only Pen and paper XP I have is with 4e D&D.

That being said I need a level 2 character concept I am allowed to use any published pathfinder book. Like ultimate magic apg. I think everyone rolled their stats.

We have
me....Unknown.
.a paladin
A rogue,
A cleric lord of undead.
dm using rise of the rune lords

My biggest problem it all looks so fun.

The party is currently missing an arcane caster. I'd look through the different sorcerer bloodlines and pick whatever most fires your imagination. Sorcerer is a nice introduction to Pathfinder.

Good luck and have fun.

Sorcerer. You are missing an arcane caster and a wizard is too much work for someone without much experience.

Scarab Sages

Based on party make-up, I'd say Sorcerer, but if an arcane caster doesn't appeal you, I would suggest some type of Archer as an alternate. Archer Fighter, Ranger, Zen Archer, or even a Bard with a bow are solid addition to allow ranged damage and add to party success.

Any bloodline focus on not get mutilated at lower levels.

That's more of a tactics thing. Just stay behind the paladin (and the cleric, if necessary).

Silver Crusade

Not getting mutilated is more on how you build and play the character. You can build a sorcerer that can be a front line fighter, you just need the right ability scores and the correct bloodline. If you want to be a frontline fighter that can use magic, look at orc or draconic bloodlines. If you want to be full caster, look at fey, arcane, elemental, or any of the "genie" bloodlines.

If you can accept losing 1 additional level of spellcasting, you could do this

http://paizo.com/threads/rzs2ptfl&page=2?Eldritch-Knight-vs-Magus
monk (sohei) 1 / sorcerer (empyreal) 6+/ Eldricht Knight up to 10, Goblin, 20pt:

st 5
dx 20
con 14
int 10
wis 17
cha 5

Then you defense will always be good, be cause the casting stat will increase AC via monk class. (And you can also have later melee fun with 2 agile kukris)

Otherwise, you could consider gnome fey bloodline sorcerer, which gives awesome DCs and later add veiled illusionist to have lots of illusion spells.
