Blink and grapple

Rules Questions

If you have casted blink on you and an enemy tries to grapple you , you are treated as ethereal - incorporeal creature. So he cannot grapple you right ?

Liberty's Edge

pretty much so. they may grapple you while you are on the prime, but than you blink to the ethereal plane and can just walk out of it. If you try to cast a spell or something while still "grappled" Id say you roll percentage and take your chances.

Yes, if the percentile roll comes up that you blink to the ethereal plane. I like to think you aren't blinking back and forth so fast that you look translucent. I think of it more like how the sorcerers from gauntlet blink in and out when they walk.

On each attack roll, and each roll to maintain the grapple, you roll the 50% chance to become ethereal and the grapple would automatically end if it comes up that you go ethereal. Likewise, when you roll to attack, cast a spell, etc., you would roll again. Any of those rolls that come up as you going ethereal would also end the grapple.
