This book rocked. Anyways, any of the devs have anymore info on her? Specifically the tenets for her worshippers? My second favourite Empyreal Lord.

What book rocked, are you talking about Chronicle of the Righteous?

I also can't find anything about "Vildeis" probably because if she's in that book, then the information isn't anywhere else.

Edit: Also if you have specific questions and it's about the Chronicle of the Righteous, I'd recommend going to this other thread about the product discussion rather than such a vague question in the General Threads...

Vildeis is super hardcore. I recommend hitting up the Ask Wes Schneider Anything thread with a question like this, since he's largely responsible for the design of the empyreal lords.

Yes Chronicles of the Righteous. Not keen on typing on my phone so I get brief at times. Thanks both of you I will check the other threads out.

    Should we make a thread for ALL Empyreal Lords and their tenets?

    By that I mean one unified thread, not a bunch of separate ones flooding the place.

    Nah, not official. Just tried to think of something that would fit the bill. :)

    "No release" was meant as in "no release from this burden you now carry", more or less doubling up on "no relief" really. ;) Vildeis and her followers just seem the sort that would can't bear to take comfort, pride, or even rest from their cause. Like...you probably wouldn't want to throw a surprise party or vacation on a hardcore Vildeis worshipper because they absolutely could not deal with it. They might feel like they somehow complicit in whatever suffering was taking place anywhere else by momentarily not sharing that burden. It's like their empathy is constantly dialed up to 11 and they just can't stop thinking about the suffering of others.

    That's just IMO and all that though. :)

    Amber Scott, F. Wesley Schneider, and Patrick Renie would be the ones to ask for the definite answers!

    Honestly, everything about Vildeis make me want someone to give her a hug.

    But then I wonder if that's one of the worst things you could do to her. Like kicking the only support that's keeping her up and sane out from under her.

    It's enough to make one wish she had some sort of flavor-relevant kink just to give her something she could allow herself to enjoy. Maybe if she just had a powerful guilt complex about it...
