I built an full blooded orc for the Skull and Shackles AP and gave him the Feral trait. I know he can't speek, but does he understand common? He has a 5 for int and wis.

don't know, but i flagged this thread to be moved to advice to help you out more.

No, you would need to spend a skill point on Linguistics and choose Common in order to understand it.

Barbarians dont get linguistics.

It's not a class skill but you can still spend skill points on it.

Even a dog can understand basic words like "sit", "roll over", etc. and an argument could be made that domestic, especially household, animals have a great degree more comprehension of the languages we speak in front of them on a daily basis than we give them credit for. Just because they lack the proper vocals to reproduce the languages doesn't mean they can't comprehend the meaning thereof. So, as long as you've been demonstrated that pointing to an enemy and saying "sick em" means "go beat that creature's face into chowder", you're covered.

Give him 5 tricks like an animal companion and good luck rp-ing that!

Thanks for the help
