Me and a couple buddies are looking to play some good old eldritch horror, however none of us have ever played the game to me recollection, and my own GM skills are very much in their infancy. Anyone willing to play/GM some characters in their slow, spiralling decent into madness and debauchery?
Hmmm. Ahh, the gibbering of player characters, the pungent odor of Shoggoth ichor and gun-smoke, the joyful meeping of the ghouls as they pick through the bloody aftermath.
I might be willing to destroy your belief in a sane universe-- I mean GM some COC.
A couple of points though:
I haven't done this PbP thing before, and was hoping to get some games as a player under my belt first before trying to GM anything.
I'm on the west coast, with a swing shift, so I would most likely be posting later, depending on where you're at.

It's surprisingly simple, just tends to go a looooot slower. As for time zones, shouldn't be much of a problem, I barely sleep anyways.
So any setting preferences?
Gaslight? Classic? Modern? Delta Green (or Laundry)?
I know about delta green, I'm assuming classic is 1920s, and modern is self explanitory, but you're gonna have to explain the other ones.
Also, if our good GM wills it, then that would bring the party size to four my good Corsario.

Characteristics: 1 re-roll and you chose arrangement. STR and CON will default to 9 if you don't have higher rolls.
Gender and age: males between 19 and 25 will be the default. Anything else will need some explaining.
Skills: Std. rules for distribution of skills. You'll get an additional 1d10+2% pts . to the skill rifle, and if Spanish is not your native tongue then you get INT+6% in Speak Language: Spanish (in addition to any points you choose to allocate).
Starting equipment includes heavy out-door clothing, Mosin-Nagant rifle, two full clips (5 rounds each), some twenty loose rounds, boots, and a bed roll.
Write a few lines of background 'fluff' to explain why the summer of 1937 finds you in the Ebro Valley in arms against the fascists.
We'll see if we can't start play this Sunday night (7 pm PST).
