Archeologist and number of performance

Rules Questions

Hi,

I've just read a debate on wheter an archeologist is good or not but haven't found exactly the answer I wanted so here it is : those an archeologist gain additionnal use of his "luck" ability if he uses the favored class bonus from the gnome or half elf?

Thank you!

This is completely up to your GM. As written, the gnome and half-elf abilities do nothing for an archeologist, since it doesn't have bardic performance, but it would be a completely reasonable house rule to allow a gnome archeologist to use the favorite class bonus for Archeologist's Luck instead.

Liberty's Edge

Archaeologist’s luck is treated as bardic performance for
the purposes of feats, abilities, effects, and the like that affect
bardic performance. Straight out of the description of the luck ability.

I have an Archaeologist, I love him. Lingering Performance is almost necessary for that character though as they do not get the 2 extra rounds per level of luck.

Thanks chaosthecold

Not only is Lingering Performance required to get enough rounds/day, I'd say unless it gets nerfed, a 2nd trait may be "required" for how freaking good it is. Check it out, Fate's Favored.

Nice find stream..I have the book, but I have not really looked at it. I think I will do that over the next day or so.
