Combining Classes

Rules Questions

I'm playing a straight Monk for 20 levels this time around. I'm curious as to how to properly multiclass later. I've never done it.

Let's say perhaps I'm somehow changed my mind and wanted to take 6 levels of Ninja. I understand how most feats and abilities combine, but I'm a little confused as to the progression of BAB and some other numbers.

The questions in regards to this combination of Monk(14) Ninja(6):

1.) Would my Flurry continue to grow past 14?

2.) How would their standard BAB combine together?

3.) Would the progression of my Ki Pool simply continue at the same rate, or would I gain "Another Ki Pool"(11 from monk, then 2(since I've nothing in Cha))??

4.) Could I apply the Ninja poisons to my IUS?

5.) Through the levels, do I gain whatever stats are better as far as saves, bab, etc. or do I take the stats of the Class Level gained on that level?

I'll probably have more questions soon...

1) No, you'll never get that third flurry attack from Monk 15

2) Monk has +10, Ninja +4, so +14. Note that for flurrying, you'd have +18 (+14 from Monk, +4 from Ninja)

3) If you have two classes with a ki pool, you combine their levels and use one of their stats. You'd choose Wisdom, of course, so your ki pool would be 10 + Wisdom

4) You can apply poisons to any weapon--and monks are immune to poison anyway, so no fear

5) The stats of that class--do you not really understand the multi-class rules? Is that it? You level one class at a time. If you're a 14th level Monk and take your 15th level as Ninja, you get +2 Reflex.

Oh Excellent. Thank you for confirming suspicious and my zero knowledge questions. You are great. Now I have a Full understanding. Dots are now connected haha.

You're awesome MPlindustries :)
