So I plan on making a very nimble, flurrious(see what i did there?), irritating and fairly accurate monk. He won't be the best damage dealer, and I don't intend for it.
Vanara Qinggong Monk.
20 point Buy
Starting Ability Stats:
Str: 12
Dex: 18
Con: 12
Int: 10
Wis: 18
Cha: 5
I hope I never take Charisma damage, otherwise I'll be a freaking vegetable D:
Anyways, he's going to be all about staying alive, accurate hits, and flurrying as often as possible by continuously tripping/stunning(or other abilities that stunning fist can do instead). Also there will be some disarm/weaponstealing in there :) I hope I drive the DM nuts. This is also the best way it seems to bring some stuff to the party... since monk's can't exactly emit an aura or anything neat like that :(
Any constructive criticism is welcome! I plan on taking it all in and refining more and more.

Can Quicken Spell be used with spells gained through Qinggong? Not sure since it would normally take up a spell slot 4 levels higher than the level of the quickened spell. Other than that, not a whole lot jumps out at me. Possibly you can do away with Toughness, just depends on the makeup of your party. If you do, you can take Snake Style a bit earlier, but its not really a big deal. I don't dislike Toughness per se, just that in my opinion its a feat whose usefullness will vary from party to party. Certainly the monk can use more HP especially if there is not an abundance of big melee types.
I might also consider dropping Slow Fall, but again its one of those abilities that's definitely situational. It might only come up a couple times during a campaign, though admittedly, when it does come up its pretty dang cool.
What you do have though will definitely work out well, just not sure Quicken will work, though if the GM says yes then run with it! :)

Not sure about it either. :(
Although I use my Ki to essentially use the ability, I still have to take a standard round to actually use it - like True Strike for instance. If it's going to take the same time to use it.. I think it should apply. I'll find out though! Plus you'd think that the prerequisites would ask for caster level or something...
I'd drop toughness but I'm basically the Tank until the Cleric can get up to speed with his whopping 20 movement speed. :T
Thanks for reading up! I enjoyed the support. I hope it all works out :D

Ahhh well, if you're going to be the tank, then I would definitely feel more inclined to take Toughness . . . every little bit will help.
I agree that Quicken is a bit vague to say the least. If your GM says no, you could potentially point to Quicken Spell Like Ability as a compromise. That gives a limit of 3x per day and requires a caster level of 10 (monk level = caster level for Qinggong monk).
In any event, hopefully your GM will make the issue moot. :)
