Can one PC allow another PC to copy spells from his spellbook?

Is something like this allowed in PFS?

Yes. Highly recommend doing it to save money as a wizard/magus/witch/alchemist. Well witch can only learn from other witches and other classes can't learn from an Alchemist but you get the idea.

You bet yah. The wizard still has to pay the scribing cost, but otherwise you are good to go.

Thanks, folks! I feared that some of the PC-PC sale rules or something might prohibit this.

Can spellcasters only get spells from other PCs or can they in general find any spell that they can cast to be available for them to scribe into their spellbooks between game sessions?

I have always wondered about that in PFS.

And remember, you can ALWAYS take 10 on a spellcraft check when attempting to learn new spells from another player. So unless you don't max out that skill each time a level is gained, there is no chance of failure to learn the spell on the first attempt.

You can, but 'tis cheaper from fellow PFS members than NPC or scrolls. starts on page 23.
